JEE Main 2016 Chemistry Chapter Wise Weightage

JEE Main 2016 exam is going to conduct in the month of April, 2016. Other Important Dates for JEE Main 2016 are also available. JEE Main question paper consists of 90 questions from which 30 questions are of chemistry carrying 4 marks each.

In order to qualify for JEE Advanced there is a criterion for every subject i.e. cut off marks. Cut off marks for JEE Advanced was 17 for general, 16 for OBC and 7 marks for all other categories.

Candidate has to clear the cut off marks in order to qualify for JEE Advanced and through their performance in JEE Advanced they get a good college.

Most of you might be searching for important topics for jee mains 2016 chemistry or want to know about the weightage of each and every chapter.

Let me tell you that weightage of a particular topic can change from one year to another. But the change is not large. A topic that carries question of 8 marks in JEE Main 2015 can carry 4 marks in JEE Advanced.

Tips:-

If you search on internet then you will find that most of the other website provides a fix weightage of the chapters. But when I analyse the question papers of last say 5-10 years I feel that the weightage of a particular topic is not fix.

And that is not the case with chemistry only. You can also check JEE Main weightage of physics and mathematics and can verify that my point holds true.

Some topics are really very important they are Transition elements and Co-ordinate geometry, Periodic Table etc. which candidate has to focus more.

No one can predict about the about the contribution of each and every chapter in JEE Main 2016 but I am dam sure that the weightage will be similar to the data I provided in the article.
